Description
Spectacular decorative stool made of petrified wood in one piece.
Successive volcanic eruptions buried vegetation under blankets of burning ash and layers of different sediments. The wood of these forests underwent a unique metamorphosis. This process lasted about 200 or 300 million years, until it gave rise to this precious material.
Its diversity of colors is due to the amount of manganese, iron and copper present in the water and mud during the petrification process. That is why we photograph each of our pieces, because no two are alike.
