Description

A beautiful set of two tables made of two petrified wooden boards carved in one piece.

The origin of petrified trees is dated to about 225 million years ago. The petrified wood was a living, leafy tree and, over thousands of years, this wood was naturally fossilised. Whole forests were buried under volcanic ash and sediments, the organic parts of the wood were replaced by minerals and silicon dioxide. Resulting in this marvel.
