Our large coffee table is made from a single piece of petrified wood, a unique and fascinating material. Petrified wood is fossilised wood that, over millions of years, has undergone a process of permineralisation, where the organic components are replaced by minerals, mainly silica, maintaining the original structure but turning it into a hard substance like stone.

It has natural colours that depend on the minerals present during its formation. On this table, deep black tones predominate with sand-coloured veins, the result of the infiltration of minerals such as manganese, iron and copper during fossilisation.

To keep it clean, use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water. Avoid acidic cleaners, harsh chemicals or abrasives that may damage the polished surface. After cleaning, dry the surface with a dry cloth to avoid water spots.
