Table handcrafted from a petrified wood trunk, also called xylophallus.

Xylophallus is a 200-250 million year old fossilised wood that was formed by trees that were buried in thick layers of sediment and volcanic ash. The petrification process takes place underground. This wood is preserved thanks to the absence of oxygen.

This piece has been rescued, treated and polished by hand.
